Greetings Classmate,
This coming June we will mark 45 years of more fun, successes, and struggles since we left the halls of NHHS in 1966. A few of us came up with ideas and started planning for our next get together.
As some of you know, New Hampton celebrates Heartland Days each summer. We chose to have our 1966 class reunion on that weekend as there are so many fun events planned. Information pertaining to our reunion is listed below.
WHERE: Chaff’s
WHEN: June 11, 2011; 6:30 p.m.
COST: $30 per person; $60 per couple (Light sandwich buffet with hors d’'oeuvres, tax and gratuity included. Also reunion expenses: postage, envelopes, name tags, website, float, flowers etc.)
OTHER INFORMATION: Casual dress. We will have a photographer. These will be an additional charge if you want a class picture. Bring pictures (identify people) if you would like. We will display them. There will be bands at the park both Friday and Saturday night. As in the past, Saturday the high school will be open from noon – 2:00 for those who would like to tour the school. Our class will be represented by a float in the parade on Friday night. We need a good turn out, so join us on the float. Information pertaining to the parade will be available at a later date. Class of 1981 - 30 Year Class Reunion will be held in New Hampton, IA on June 10 & 11, 2011 during New Hampton's Heartland Days.
Schedule of Reunion Events:
Friday, June 10th:
* Heartland Days Parade (Classmates Only):
o 1981 - 30 Year Class float Parade starts at 6pm. Line up starts at 4:30/5pm
o We will assume that the classmate will be riding the float when you send in your money confirming your reservation. If not, please email me!
o If you have a battery operated satellite radio (2 or 3) we'd love to borrow it for 80's music on each float!
* Beer and BBQ Dinner (Classmates and Guest Only)

Saturday, June 11th:
* Heartland Days Activities (Classmates & Family): Many scheduled activities during the day and evening planned by the Heartland Days Committee - stay tuned for details!
* Michaelson Park Shelter #6 (Classmates & Family): Meeting location for evening Heartland Day activities (live band in bandshell, fireworks, etc.) Please bring your families and picnic dinner to enjoy the scheduled evening festivities. Keg of Beer and bottled water will be provided.

The Class of 1976 will gather at the New Hampton Golf & Country Club on July 16 for their 35th reunion. A letter has been mailed to classmates with details. The class will have a float in the Heartland Days parade in June, and classmates are invited to take part.

Celebrate the Class of 1962 Reunion
The 50 Year Reunion Will be held in conjuction
with Heartland Days, June 8 and 9 2012.
We will meet in the southeast corner of the St Mary's parking lot at 5 pm on Friday, June 8th.
From there we will go to our parade float which will be a flat bed trailer with banners on it.
After the parade, there will be an informal gathering at the Pub in the Pinicon (just south of town on Old 63, Linn Ave)
On Saturday, June 9, we will meet at 5pm at Big Ed's Firehouse (formerly Chaff's Restaurant) on West Milwaukee St.
There will be a buffet meal, starting at 7 pm, and a short program following.
